Spring Make-up Reviews!♥

Hey darlings!!♥

Well.. is it just me or does it feel like a while since I have been here? All I have done is dropped from 3 posts a week to 2 but I feel it makes SUCH a massive difference haha!!! I KNOW it would be WAY too much to take on 3 posts and 1 video a week…. alongside working full time HA!! I have been LOVING YouTube WAY too much though.. so make sure to be the AMAZING babes you are and check out/subscribe to my channel!!

SPEAKING OF YOUTUBE… If you watched my latest video then you will be expecting this post!!! AND I am SO SO excited to be writing it too.. as it is ALL about things I have been LOVING since buying them!! All the items are quite popular for Spring time too.. so I hope this will be a right good, informative post for all you beauty addicts! (ahem… myself included).

RIGHT ANGELS… Should we get right onto it… YES PLEASE!!♥

Make Up Revolution Golden Sugar Blush Palette♥

The first thing I am going to be babbling on about is the EVER so popular, Make Up Revolution Golden Sugar Blush Palette (um.. that is a right mouthful too!).. This had been on my wishlist for SO LONG.. and oh my.. can I just say how CHUFFED I am that I finally picked it up?!

(Mind the messy palette.. whoops)

The packaging is SO sleek.. and the fact that it has a HUGE mirror gives it instant brownie points with me (mirrors just make everything better right?). The actual palette itself is GORGEOUS.. and I LOVE that you get a lovely range of colours to experiment with, and not just a bunch of pink shades! The top row shades are PERFECT for highlighting and adding a lovely pink flush to your cheeks, and bottom row is perfect for bronzing up your skin! I LOVE the fact that you get a lovely mix of shimmery shades, and more subtle shades (the last 2 top and bottom shades on the right are PERFECT for a more subtle highlight and contour!

I think this palette is a MUST have for anyone who loves having a variety of face products in one place.. this will definitely be coming on holiday with me to give me that BEAUTIFUL glow! If you are not a fan of shimmery face/cheek products.. you may not get a lot of use out of this palette.. but I can assure you all the colours leave your skin with a lovely “sheen”, rather than chunks of glitter on your face (I don’t think I know ANYONE who is a fan of this!!). ALL IN ALL DARLINGS… spend the £6 and BUY THIS PALETTE.. it really has become an absolute STAPLE in my collection… AND I cannot wait to pick up more MUR cheek palettes (ahem, cream blush palette I am talking about you!).

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge♥

NEXT ITEM.. The Real Techniques Complexion Sponge! Oh this little angel.. I have been using this for around a week… and I can honestly see why so many people love using sponges/beauty blenders to apply their make-up. My make-up has NEVER looked so flawless.. yet natural at the same time!

SAM_4508

I use the sponge wet (just literally run it under the tap for 2 seconds and squeeze out any water!)… and apply my foundation directly to my face.. then start DABBING! It is so easy to use.. and really does such an amazing job at just blending your foundation into your skin so you have the loveliest, most natural looking base EVER! My ONLY negative (boo), is that it takes slightly longer than using my brushes… and my arm did slightly ache after dabbing quite a bit. HOWEVER.. I do not care (haha).. because my foundation has never looked better (and dare I say it seems to have lasted longer too.. eeek!). I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this Real Techniques sponge to ANYONE.. and, even though I was slightly apprehensive at first, would absolutely LOVE to invest in a beauty blender soon! This Real Techniques beauty will do fine for me for now! Now….I have to work out how I am going to deep clean it… any tips loves?

Collection Speedy Highlighter♥

Now.. onto my FAVOURITE HIGHLIGHTER at the moment… and that is.. The COLLECTION SPEEDY HIGHLIGHTER! Firstly… the price is AMAZING (the best £4 I have spent in a LONG time loves!).. secondly.. it is SO FOOL PROOF TO USE!! If you are a highlighting newbie (like me!!).. this is literally the perfect starting product for you. It is subtle.. yet buildable, has a beautiful pearly appearance, and is SO QUICK.. oh.. and you also don’t need to faff around with brushes either.. one quick sweep and YOU ARE DONE! This is a FAVE of mine.. and you HAVE to try it!

Rimmel 08 & Revlon Matte Lip BalmRevlon Matte Lip Balm

Finally.. LIP PRODUCTS!!! Both of the lip products I picked up have literally become my favourite EVER. Both are SO affordable and long lasting!!! If you are a fan of matte lips (which I definitely am!)… you seriously need to try both of the these. The first is a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 08.. this is such a beautiful, rose pink/nude colour… and it has become a staple of mine for this season! I LOVE the Kate Moss lipsticks anyway.. so knew I would adore this lipstick. The second is the Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry Sulfureus … this is definitely more on the pink side compared to the Rimmel lipstick.. and looks SO gorgeous on your lips! It is a beautiful, matte, rose pink shade, and I have been obsessed with it!! Both these lipsticks last around 2-3 hours before I have to re-apply .. are SO easy to apply, and do not dry your lips out AT ALL! Although I would highly recommend scrubbing your lips with a sugar & vaseline scrub (or the Lush Lip Scrubs) every night and apply some lip balm! This ensures you have lovely smooth lips every day to apply your lipsticks to!

SO ANGELS… There you have reviews of my latest beauty purchases… I would 100% recommend every single product here.. I am so sure you will love them as much as me!!! Make sure to let me know if you have tried any of these darlings!

Right my loves… that is me done with this post! I really hope you enjoyed it.. and hopefully it helps some of you? I am such a massive lover of makeup from the drugstore and LOVE that it is so affordable.. as being a beauty blogger can sometimes be quite an expensive hobby (tehehe).. so finding little gems like all of these is amazing.

I cannot wait to see you all in my next post.. I know some fashion posts are SO overdue… so expect to see a few in a row (teheh).. I am hopefully (maybe) going to try my hand at filming Lookbooks, as well as some Vlogs (ha!) on my channel.. so make sure you are subscribed to my channel so you don’t miss those!!! Thank you SO SO MUCH for all your support lovelies… sending you all SO MUCH LOVE!! See you in my next one!

Lots of Love,

Saira♥

I Have A Midi Skirt Obsession

Hi my lovelies!

How are you all? Hope you have all had a wonderful Monday .. whatever you have been up to! I have been at work, then went to Boots after work to pick up some essentials I needed! The weekend already seems like a lifetime away! I had quite a fun weekend.. Spent doing some shopping, eating out (a lot!), and taking a trip to Bolton!

I have been so excited to put this blog post up as I wanted to show you my fashion purchases over the past week. I’ll be honest, I have only recently started purchasing clothes again on a regular basis. A few years ago, when me and my husband first got married, we had quite a tight budget, with only me working full time (the pay wasn’t very good) and him studying full time at University. This obviously meant that I would always think “do I really need this” whenever I saw something I liked. Now, alhumdullillah (which means thankfully), both of us have full time jobs, meaning we have money to put aside, both for saving and spending! I am a huge believer of if you work hard enough, everything will pay off and you WILL get far in life (I always like to remain positive)… and that is what kept me motivated to work hard during those tough times

Anyway… moving on from that little insight in to my life .. lets move on to the items I picked up! So, this is actually from two trips into town .. and my latest trip was to a new shopping centre that has just opened up. I went on Saturday around 1pm (BIG MISTAKE).. it was so busy and took us almost half an hour to actually get in to the car park (eek!). I guess that was my fault for going at time (hehehe).. it was still a successful shopping trip though :D.

I also have developed a huge love for midi skirts recently .. I just love the look they give, and much prefer them to maxi skirts (which have the problem of dragging on the floor too .. not what you want when it starts raining a lot outside!).

Picture 1

I have purchased 3 midi skirts over the last week .. a black, grey and burgundy one. The black and burgundy are from Primark (an absolute STEAL at £6 might I add)… And you can actually see the burgundy one featured in my previous blog post here. I love these so much.. it is worth checking in your local Primark for them too .. they are knitted too which I think looks so stunning at this time of year! The grey one is a recent purchase from New Look (which also cost £14.99).. and is slightly longer too. I love the texture of it .. it is quite thick and warm (which is great for the colder months :D). I can also wear all three to work, as well as at the weekend, which is always a plus! You will be seeing all of these featured in future blog posts guys (this is not the last that you will see of these, hehe).

Picture 2

The next item is this beautiful button up dress from H&M, which I got over the weekend for £14.99. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it.. I adore the bird print on it, and think the colour is so pretty too. I have already taken some outfit photos featuring this dress, so you will see how it looks on very soon (although if you follow me on Instagram, you would have already had a sneak peek :P). Picture 3

Next up .. these beautiful jeggings :D. If you guys know me by now, you know how much I love my black jeggings, and practically live in them! I saw this in H&M for £14.99, and knew I had to have them. They have a “brushed” effect on the front, and also have zips on the top, which I think adds such an edgy look to them. I normally just get plain ones, so this was a nice change.. the lady at the till also said how much she loved them! I cannot wait to wear these and add some more drama to my otherwise plain black and grey outfits! Picture 4

Now this baby may be the biggest bargain I got .. It is a gorgeous camel jumper from New Look which cost me.. wait for it .. £7.99! I was so surprised at the cost, as from New Look I wouldn’t think to find a woolly jumper so cheap. The colour is so on trend, and looks so pretty at this time of year too ..  I will be going back to get the other colours :P.

Picture 5

Last but not least.. I picked up some stunning brown ankle boots from Primark for £13 :). I love them so much as they have fur inside too, which keeps your feet toasty in the winter! They are such a beautiful colour and will match with more or less everything I wear. I love the zip detail on both sides, and the slight heel which is always a plus for us short girlies :D. Primark is so amazing for boots, just remember to get there early whilst everything is tidy and you will actually be able to find your size! I am a size 3 so always struggle to find the right size, but I find that when I go earlier, I am more likely to find the right size :).

Yay! I am SO happy with everything I picked up, and cannot wait to show you how they look in future outfit posts. I really hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening .. I think we are watching a movie tonight, then it is off to bed for work tomorrow!

Have a good night dolls 🙂

Love,

Saira xo
